چکیده

Figs (Ficus carica L.) belongs to family Moraceae which contains a lot of phenolic compounds that have an antihyperlipidemic effect. However, the figs not been intensively studied. The purpose this study was determine activity in as inhibiting work HMG-CoA reductase enzyme. This research uses experimental technique with silico method. in-silico method performed predict physicochemical, pharmacokinetic, toxicity, and molecular docking properties by comparing Pravastatin receptor. Rutaretin, Pimpinellin dan Seselin has highest affinity values, met toxicity parameters compared Psoralen, 8-Methoxypsoralen, Angelicin, Bergapten control compounds. presence binding enzyme able inhibit amino acid residues Cys526, Gln814, Ile536, Leu811, Ile762, Pro813, Ala763, Ala556, Val538, Pro535, Tyr533, Met534, Gly765, Tyr517, Val522, Cys527. These results suggest Pimpinellin, could be on action enzyme.

Potential of Leaves of Eighteen Cultivars of Ficus carica as Antioxidants and Profiling of Phenolic Compounds as an Active Molecules

Ficus carica is a worldwide important crop. Its different parts such as leaves, stem barks, fruit and roots are used in traditional medicine from ancient age to treat the various diseases. In this research, total phenolic content, antioxidant activity, yield of extract and profiling of phenolic compounds of maturated leaves of different cultivars of F. carica were investigated by using two diff...

comparison of catalytic activity of heteropoly compounds in the synthesis of bis(indolyl)alkanes.

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...

Cultivar-specific transcriptome prediction and annotation in Ficus carica L.

The availability of transcriptomic data sequence is a key step for functional genomics studies. Recently, a repertoire of predicted genes of a Japanese cultivar of fig (Ficus carica L.) was released. Because of the great phenotypic variability that can be found in this species, we decided to study another fig genotype, the Italian cv. Dottato, in order to perform comparative studies between the...

Deployment of response surface methodology to optimize recovery of dark fresh fig (Ficus carica L., var. Azenjar) total phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity.

Optimum conditions for extracting total phenolic compounds (TPC) and antioxidant activity from fresh dark fig (Ficus carica L.) have been investigated using response surface methodology (RSM). The Box-Behnken design was used to investigate the effects of three independent variables, acetone concentration (40-80%), temperature (25-65 °C), and time (60-120 min), on the response. Regression analys...
